Chadwick Lawrence Solicitors have cemented their sports portfolio for 2026 with five club partnerships across the highest level of English Rugby League.
The law firm has built successful relationships with a range of Rugby League clubs from West Yorkshire, such as Leeds Rhinos, Bradford Bulls, Wakefield Trinity, Huddersfield Giants and Castleford Tigers.
The Yorkshire organisation’s longest relationship is with Leeds Rhinos, whom Chadwick Lawrence committed a further 12 months of sponsorship and legal support to in 2025.
On the Rhinos’ relationship with Chadwick Laurence, the CEO of Leeds Rhinos, Jamie Jones-Buchanan MBE commented: “Chadwick Lawrence has been a trusted partner of Leeds Rhinos for two decades, and their continued support is a testament to the strength of our relationship.
“Their legal expertise, strategic guidance, and understanding of the professional sports landscape have been invaluable to the club, both on and off the field. We are proud to continue working together as we head into another exciting season.”
Chadwick Lawrence Solicitors has been the official legal partner of Leeds Rhinos for over two decades, and they offer ‘regulatory, HR, corporate and commercial, commercial property, dispute resolution and personal legal services’ to the club as well as its players and staff.
Alongside sponsoring matches, hosting an annual joint event and receiving advertising at the AMT Headingley Rugby Stadium, Chadwick Lawrence also offers pro bono assistance to the club’s foundation.
On working with Leeds Rhinos, Neil Wilson, the managing partner at Chadwick Lawrence, said: “As the new season kicks off, we look forward to helping our clients navigate the changing Rugby League landscape, sharing our expertise from over 20 years of working with leading clubs such as Leeds Rhinos.”
Alongside working with Leeds Rhinos, the firm has also been the official legal partner and a major sponsor for Bradford Bulls, with whom it has offered legal expertise, sponsored jerseys and supported the Bulls’ community efforts for the past five years.
For several years, the firm has worked with Wakefield Trinity in both a legal and sponsorship capacity while also providing legal, regulatory, and HR advice to the club.
On supporting a range of rugby clubs in different capacities, Neil Wilson said: “Supporting professional sports clubs in Yorkshire has been central to Chadwick Lawrence for many years, as a proud champion of regional businesses.”
The 2026 season will also see Chadwick Lawrence sponsor Huddersfield Giants for the second year, with the Giants’ Accu Stadium featuring the law firm’s branding throughout the stadium on matchday.
The firm’s fifth and final partnership is with the Castleford Tigers, which will see them provide legal support across sports, employment, and immigration law for the next two seasons while also handling matters such as advising on player and staff contracts and supporting the club’s HR and employment compliance.
