Leeds-based marketing agency Youbee Media is celebrating a landmark summer after being appointed as marketing partner for a series of high-profile events across West Yorkshire.

The firm, best known for its social media work, has built a growing profile in the events sector following its involvement with clients including ClimbUK, the Pride in Diversity Awards, The Yorkshire BusinessWoman Awards, and LGBTQ+ charity Out Together for its flagship fundraising event, The All Out Together Ball.

Services delivered included brand creation, social media management, media relations, website development, collateral design, and live on-site support.

Data provided by event organisers indicates significant audience growth across the portfolio. The Pride in Diversity Awards recorded a 67% increase in event size for its 2026 ceremony.

Similarly, tech and innovation festival Climb26 reported a 108% increase in unique website visitors alongside nearly 1,000 new LinkedIn followers in the first two months following Youbee Media’s appointment.

Gordon Bateman, Founder and CEO of ClimbUK, said: “We brought Youbee Media on board at relatively short notice ahead of Climb26, and they immediately became an extension of our team. Rebecca and the team understood what we were trying to achieve and brought the flexibility, energy and commitment needed to deliver a major event like Climb26.

“Their support went far beyond social media, helping us build momentum, strengthen our visibility and make this year’s festival our most successful yet. We chose Youbee because of their strong reputation and experience within the regional events community, and they absolutely delivered. We’re excited to continue working together as we build towards an even bigger Climb27.”

The agency’s expansion into the events sector has developed largely through strategic partnerships with regional event planners, including Jane Clynes.

Jane Clynes commented: “Having worked with Youbee Media for several years, what really sets them apart is that they don’t simply promote an event from the outside – they become genuinely invested and work as part of the team.

“From helping us grow the Yorkshire BusinessWoman Awards to shaping the Pride in Diversity Awards from the very beginning, their creativity, flexibility and commitment have made them an invaluable partner. Becky understands what it takes to bring an event to life, build a community around it and maintain that momentum year after year.”

Rebecca Hopwood, Director at Youbee Media, said: “We feel incredibly honoured to have been entrusted to support such fantastic events across Leeds and Yorkshire this summer. These events play such an important role in celebrating the businesses, charities, and individuals who make our region such a fantastic place to live and work, and it’s been an absolute privilege to play our small part in contributing to their success”

Following the summer season, Youbee Media has secured a 12-month contract with ClimbUK covering its national event series and the Climb27 festival. The agency has also been retained for the 2027 Pride in Diversity Awards.
