Bradford Odeon Set To Bring The Beat Back To Bradford

They say that the Bradford Odeon is steeped in history, graced by legends (it is, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones played gigs there) and an icon reborn.

The funding is in place now and the venue is set to be reborn again as Bradford Live. The NEC group who run several top venues in Birmingham have joined forces with Bradford Live to restore the venue to its former glory and put Bradford firmly back on the touring map.

With a broad mix of concerts, comedy and corporate events Bradford Live will create a vibrant heart for Bradford attracting 300,000 visitors per year from across the North of England and beyond.

It sounds impressive: 4,000 flexible capacity, two foyer bars, a 400 capacity lounge/forum space, a 700 capacity ballroom, a new Boiler Room bar and two VIP Tower bars.

The Project will benefit the economy in the city too: restaurants, bars, hotels, car parks and the job market will all feel the Bradford Live effect.

It is intended to have not just one gala opening night but to have a season of opening nights with acts from different genres, be it pop, comedy or family shows.
