Lake Legal has promoted
Hollie Burnett to partner following a year of significant growth. Burnett, who joined the firm in 2017, has expertise in complex financial settlements, cohabitation disputes, and child-related matters. Her promotion is a key part of the firm's expansion, which includes a 5% increase in turnover and the launch of a new mediation service led by
Sam Haslam. Managing partner Claire Glaister praised Burnett as "a huge asset," noting that her promotion strengthens the leadership team and reinforces the firm's commitment to clients.

Magpie has appointed
Dave Timothy as Director of Partnerships & Growth as it marks 16 years of delivering social impact. Formerly MD of Roboto Food, Timothy brings a strong track record in scaling creative agencies and working with global brands. His appointment comes as Magpie enters a new phase of growth, building on its reputation for evidence-based campaigns tackling public health, sustainability, and education. Co-founder Ged Savva said Timothy’s leadership will help strengthen partnerships and expand the agency’s reach while staying true to its mission of “changing behaviour for good.”
JLL has appointed
Sam Jamieson as Head of Office Agency for Yorkshire and the North East, following the retirement of long-serving Senior Director Jeff Pearey. Jamieson joins from Cushman & Wakefield, bringing experience from previous roles at Knight Frank and a strong track record in office disposals and acquisitions across Leeds, Sheffield and the wider North East. He will lead on major regional developments, working alongside Leeds office head Tom McWilliams. Pearey leaves after nearly two decades at JLL, having advised on landmark schemes including Wellington Place, Kirkstall Forge and White Rose Office Park.

Knight Frank has made five promotions in its Sheffield office as part of its ongoing careers programme.
Matt Collier becomes Partner in the valuations team,
Kitty Hendrick is promoted to Senior Surveyor in agency, and
Tom Appleby becomes Associate in building surveying.
Adam Rawkins is now Associate in property management, while
Becca Smith is promoted to Senior Surveyor in residential valuations. The firm has also appointed University of Northumbria student
Oliver Hobson to a year-long placement in the industrial and office agency teams. Knight Frank’s Sheffield office forms part of a 27-strong team covering Yorkshire-wide commercial property services.

Brabners has appointed
Ben Lamb as a partner in its Leeds real estate team. He joins from Clarion, where he was a partner for over nine years, and brings more than 20 years’ experience advising across logistics, retail, leisure, office and real estate finance sectors. Lamb began his legal career in London before relocating to Leeds in 2011. He has acted for developers, investors, occupiers, funders and borrowers on complex transactions. Brabners' real estate team includes 120 professionals nationally and has advised on major projects including Eden Project North and the £5bn regeneration of Liverpool’s historic waterfront.

Victoria Clarke Brown and
Max Deeley as Non-Executive Directors, bolstering its board as the company expands in the UK and internationally. Clarke Brown, a qualified accountant with senior leadership experience at Distinction Group and Kitlocker, brings strong financial and governance expertise.
Deeley, Managing Director of DTK Capital, adds experience in corporate finance, investment, and business growth. Both appointments align with IntelliAM’s strategic focus on scaling its AI-driven asset management solutions, particularly within the food and drink manufacturing sector. The company already counts major brands such as Mars, Müller and Diageo among its clients. Later this month, IntelliAM will host The Connected Performance Summit in Sheffield, showcasing how AI and machine learning are reshaping manufacturing efficiency.

Newcastle-based commercial property consultancy
Naylors Gavin Black has announced a series of appointments and promotions to support its ongoing expansion.
Lynne Bowman joins as facilities administrator, while
Jake Smith returns as a graduate surveyor in the investment team. Two Northumbria University students,
Matt Wainwright and
Sam Gray, have also been appointed on placements. Internally,
Ben Wilson has been promoted to senior chartered surveyor within the building consultancy team, and
