Eddisons has been named as a supplier to Crown Commercial Service’s Estate Management Services 2 framework
Leeds-headquartered property consultancy Eddisons has secured a major appointment to the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Estate Management Services 2 framework. The selection allows public sector bodies across the UK to access the firm’s real estate expertise through a streamlined, pre-vetted procurement process.
The national framework, known as RM6343, is utilised by government departments, local authorities, NHS bodies, and emergency services. The appointment is a significant boost for the Yorkshire-based firm, which now employs more than 500 people across 30 offices.
Unlocking Public Sector Value
The CCS plays a critical role in UK public spending; in 2024/25, it helped the public sector achieve commercial benefits totaling £5.3 billion. Eddisons’ role on the framework will cover a broad remit, including estate management, valuation, sustainability consultancy, and building project consultancy.
Javid Patel, Senior Director and Head of Public Sector at Eddisons, said: “We’re proud to have been named as a supplier on CCS’s Estate Management Services 2 framework, which plays an important role in supporting the Government’s growth and sustainability agenda.
“This appointment reflects the strength and depth of our public sector expertise and our commitment to helping organisations unlock value from their estates while delivering on net zero and housing growth ambitions.”
Alignment with National Objectives
The appointment positions the Leeds firm at the heart of the Government’s "Plan for Change." Eddisons is currently advising on diverse projects ranging from data centre site acquisition to the complex management of expiring Private Finance Initiative (PFI) contracts.
The firm's expertise in estate rationalisation is particularly relevant for Northern local authorities looking to optimise their property portfolios amidst tightening budgets.
Anthony Spencer, Managing Partner at Eddisons, added: “Our appointment to CCS’s framework is a significant milestone for the business and a recognition of the quality and capability of our teams. It positions us to continue supporting the public sector’s evolving needs and to contribute to the delivery of major infrastructure, housing and sustainability initiatives across the country.”
Eddisons is joined by other firms with deep roots in the North of England that have also secured spots on this latest Crown Commercial Service (CCS) agreement.
Prominent among these is Sanderson Weatherall, which is headquartered in Leeds and maintains a strong presence across the North East and North West. Their appointment, alongside York-based Specialist Property Advisers, signals a robust showing for the region’s professional services sector in the latest £5.3bn government procurement cycle.
