Manchester-based software provider Voicescape has announced the acquisition of Enterprise RPA, creating what it describes as the UK’s first integrated Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platform for the social housing and local government sectors.
The deal, backed by investment firm BGF, brings together two North West technology companies with a combined workforce of 70 people. Both firms are already established suppliers to the public sector, sharing a client list that includes North West-based Onward Homes.
Streamlining Social Housing Operations
The acquisition aims to address increasing pressures on social landlords, who are currently facing rising debt levels, staffing shortages, and heightened regulatory demands. By merging Voicescape’s behavioural science-driven engagement tools with Enterprise RPA’s automation technology, the new entity seeks to digitise high-volume administrative tasks.
Enterprise RPA specialises in automating processes such as Universal Credit verification, Housing Benefit overpayments, and invoice processing. This technology allows housing officers to redirect their capacity toward direct tenant support.
Gary Haynes, Managing Director at Voicescape, said: “Landlords are being asked to deliver more with less, making automation critical to resilience, compliance and service delivery. By combining Voicescape’s AI and behavioural science engagement platform with Enterprise RPA’s automation expertise, we can now offer one integrated partner that serves the full operational lifecycle, built specifically for housing and local authorities.”
Continuity for Regional Clients
Operational continuity is a key focus of the merger. The companies have confirmed that all existing customer contracts, pricing, and support arrangements will remain unchanged.
Paul Agnew, RPA Integration Lead at Enterprise RPA, added: “We’re pleased to have found a new home for the Enterprise RPA team, technology and customers in Voicescape, which is a company we’ve admired for some time. We already have many shared customers, so the service will be undisrupted, and customers will be able to benefit from our combined offer.”
Enterprise RPA brings significant credentials to the deal as an approved government supplier and a Microsoft Automation Innovation Partner.
