Strategic property and construction advisors, Fox Lloyd Jones (FLJ) has completed the letting of 2 Victoria Avenue, Harrogate, to education technology business PASS, acting on behalf of landlord High Point Estates Ltd.

International law firm DAC Beachcroft has agreed to lease the top two floors at 31 Wellington Street, an 80,000 sq ft Grade A office development in central Leeds. The £60 million speculative project by Prescient Capital is currently under construction at the junction of Wellington Street and Northern Street, close to Leeds railway station.

Law firm Square One Law is taking over 3,000sq ft of recently refurbished Grade A office space in the heart of Leeds. It is moving into the seventh floor of 7 Park Row on a five-year lease, increasing its floorspace and enhancing the firm’s ability to expand further. James Jackson of Leeds-based property consultancy Carter Towler brokered the deal.

JLL has successfully completed the acquisition of Livingstone House at Leeds Dock on behalf of Luminate Education Group, securing a new city centre campus for Leeds City College. Leeds City College, part of Luminate Education Group, the region's largest further education provider, will receive £8 million in UK government funding to enable the expansion of their education services in Leeds.

Zenzero, an IT support services provider, has secured a 3,056 sq ft office at Concordia Works on Sovereign Street, Leeds. The firm signed a 10-year lease for the second floor of the former warehouse, paying £28 per sq ft. The deal, brokered by Knight Frank on behalf of landlord Boultbee Brooks, leaves only one floor remaining in the 13,922 sq ft building.

Beal Homes has commenced infrastructure works on a 52-acre site in Hull, marking the start of a £120m residential development that will further expand the popular Kingswood community. The East Yorkshire-based housebuilder has moved on-site to begin the construction of roads and sewage systems for the project, named King’s Crescent.

HBC Construction Limited (HBC), formerly known as Henry Boot Construction, has completed the £10m restoration of the Grade II-listed Ramsden Building at the University of Huddersfield. Located on Queensgate in Huddersfield town centre, Ramsden is one of the town’s most architecturally significant and historically important buildings.

Three new occupiers have moved into the renovated Ambler House in Leeds city centre. Spire Barristers, engineering and talent consultancy Apera and software company Azzuu have all taken space in Ambler House, which is situated within the popular Trevelyan Square, off Boar Lane, and just a 5-minute walk from Leeds railway station.

North East planning specialist Hedley Planning has recorded its highest ever level of residential approvals as it looks ahead to continued growth in the next 12 months. The news comes as the firm, which provides planning services for volume housebuilders including affordable home providers, either submitted or secured approval for 3,322 dwellings across the North East region in 2025.

Premcor Estates (Premcor) has secured planning permission for its 43-acre Mode 18 development at Rossington, Doncaster, marking a significant milestone and paving the way for hundreds of future jobs and the start of much-needed infrastructure works.
