Clegg Construction is “proud and honoured” to be delivering the most significant new office building in Leeds. The Nottingham-based company is the main contractor for 31 Wellington Street, which comprises 80,000 sq ft of prime office space, a sky lounge, terrace, events space and fitness and gym facilities.

A local football club has teamed up with award-winning Beal Homes to launch show homes at a £105m development in Lincolnshire. Immingham Town FC First Team Manager Jon Davy and Vice-Captain Alfie Davy performed the opening of the two new show homes at Beal’s Highfields development in Immingham, North East Lincolnshire.

A pair of construction projects in East Yorkshire that will provide much needed sheltered housing for local people have topped out within days of each other. The highest point of the buildings have been reached, and the roof structures are now complete at the two developments in Anlaby and Driffield, that are known as Moat Hill and Deira Court respectively.

A major warehouse building just outside Leeds city centre has changed hands in a £14.75 million investment deal. Located on Oldfield Lane in Wortley, the property offers 156,681 sq ft of warehouse and office space within a 10-acre site and has been acquired by an institutional investor, which was advised by Leeds property consultancy, GV&Co’s specialist investment division.

Yorkshire residential property developer Vivly Living has shone in two regional residential property awards competitions this year. The Huddersfield-based developer won the Residential Development of the Year (under 100 homes) accolade in this year’s Yorkshire Insider Property Industry Awards and was shortlisted in the Residential Housebuilder of the Year category in the same competition.

Commercial property developer Wykeland Group has secured innovative manufacturer Vuba to occupy the final building at Hull’s @TheDock tech campus. The Leeds office of global property consultancy Knight Frank has brokered a significant office sale in Cleckheaton in West Yorkshire. The 17,895 sq ft Woodland House, part of the Woodland Park development, has been sold by Parker and Parker Investments for £2m. It has been acquired by KJA Group Chartered Accountants as their flagship offices.

A refurbishment project at Glen Lodge, an independent care community with extra care in Heworth, York, has been completed by Yorkshire and Lincolnshire construction firm Hobson & Porter. The £3.2m, 15-month programme has transformed the older part of the property, which was originally built in the 1970s and consists of 32 assisted living apartments for older people.

European engineering, environment and design consultancy Sweco has taken 15,000 sq ft of quality office space - the entire seventh floor - at 1 Whitehall Riverside in Leeds city centre.

NHS Supply Chain has completed on a deal at Gradient Mill at Tileyard North, Wakefield – the largest office deal in the city for over a decade. NHS Supply Chain, which supplies healthcare products to the NHS, are relocating from offices in Normanton & Carrwood Park, to Gradient Mill, where it will occupy the first to fourth floors, totalling 28,460 sq ft.
